TSKgel SuperQ-5PW (20), 20 µm, 25mL

TSKgel SuperQ-5PW is a strong anion exchange resin for biomolecule purification. It is composed of highly crosslinked polymethacrylate beads that have been functionalized with quaternary amine (Q) strong anion exchange groups.

TSKgel SuperQ-5PW has high chemical and mechanical stability, allowing cleaning-in-place (CIP) and high flow rates. TSKgel PW resins vary from TOYOPEARL resins by having a higher degree of crosslinking which is necessitated by the higher flow pressures needed when using smaller particles for chromatography.

TSKgel SuperQ-5PW resins are best used for high resolution process polishing steps and the capture of oligonucleotides from crude harvest. TSKgel SuperQ-5PW is available in two particle sizes: 30 µm and 20 µm. Because similarly functionalized TSKgel PW and TOYOPEARL resin types have the same backbone polymer chemistry, the selectivity for proteins and impurities remains the same.
